Holds multiple professional qualifications in Information Technology, Economics, Journalism, Business Management, Management, Life Coaching and Training & Education. Author of ‘Australia for Pakistanis’ – the first book that stunningly investigates the genealogy of early Pakistani immigrants in Australia.

Delivering lectures and conducts trainings for local institutes and visiting lecturer for foreign Universities. Working as a facilitator, training consultant and a counsellor in Training & Education. Conducting short trainings, workshops, seminars and delivering lectures in seminars and forums.

Working for local and international media as a foreign correspondent, media analyst, and column writer. Working as a producer/presenter radio shows of Voice of Tribune. Working as a casual program producer/Presenter for SBS Radio (Urdu Language). Working as an Editor for Tribune International (Australia). Working as a foreign correspondent for Jang Group of Pakistan and regularly writing weekly round-up reports on current affairs in world’s largest circulated Urdu magazine ‘Akhbar-e-Jehan’ as ‘Maktoob-e-Australia’. Frequently writing English articles for Pakistan Observer, Media Monitor, Opinion Online (Australia) and Urdu articles for Urdu online news website www.urdutahzeeb.net. Working as an Editor-in-Chief, Tribune International (Australia) – first multicultural English On-line Newspaper started in 1997.

Leading, as a Director, one of the largest annual multicultural festival, Chand Raat Eid Festival (CREF) in Australia held in Sydney and Melbourne in celebrations of Ramadan and Eid-ul-Fitr and attended by thousands of people every year. It is a unique and most popular calendar events of Islamic community in Australia.

Actively involved in South Asian community affairs in New South Wales (Australia), organising forums on key social, political and geopolitical issues. Founder, Campaigner and Chief Coordinator of International Forum of Dual National Pakistanis (IFDNP).

Overview of Some professional achievements in the last 15 years:

  • 1997 – Introduced ‘Tribune International’ – the multicultural English Newspaper.
  • 1998 – Launched the first ‘Chand Raat Eid Festival’ which is now held every year.
  • 1998 – Started Community Radio program for Urdu and Hindi listeners.
  • 1999 – Organised forum on ‘Kashmir – A Global Flashpoint’ where active community leaders, parliamentarians, writers and journalist participated.
  • 2000 – Published Multicultural English Magazine in celebrations of Sydney Olympic 2000, it was launched by Hon Morris Imma, former Premier NSW at the premises of NSW Parliament House.
  • 2000 – Conducted a forum on ‘Child Labour in South Asia’ in Sydney.
  • 2001 – Travelled to India covered Agra summit and visit of General Pervez Musharraf, former President of Pakistan representing Australian media.
  • 2001 – Conducted a forum on ‘Terrorism’ held in Sydney.
  • 2002 – Wrote book ‘Australia For Pakistanis’, the book was largely acknowledged in Australia and abroad.
  • 2003 – Invited by Thailand Authority of Tourism as a special guest to witness the First Golden Kinnaree Awards in the Bangkok International Film Festival.
  • 2003 – Covered peace rallies held in Sydney, as a part of international coverage for international media agencies.
  • 2003 – Received Best Spot Journalism award from Victory News.
  • 2005 – Conducted workshop on ‘Media and Mass Communication’ for the faculty members of Department of Mass Communication Sind University (Pakistan) as a Guest Speaker.
  • 2005 – Covered visit of President of Pakistan General Pervez Musharraf for international media.
  • 2005 – Moderator at the forum on Community Unity & Harmony organised by Tribune International in Sydney.
  • 2005 – Guest speaker at Writing Festival organised by Writers Club of New South Wales. The topic was ‘Journalism a first draft of history’.
  • 2005 – Guest speaker at the forum on “Impact of anti-terror laws on journalists, writers and publishers” organised by New South Writers Centre, Sydney Australia.
  • 2006 – Became elected member of Executive Board of Foreign Correspondent Association of Australia.
  • 2006 – Guest speaker at Writing Festival organised by Writers Centre NSW, the topic was ‘Australia in Foreign Eyes’.
  • 2007 – Delegate to attend and cover the 5th World Conference of Science Journalists.
  • 2007 – Covered different events of APEC 2007 held in Australia.
  • 2008 – Covered World Youth Day 2008 staged in Sydney.
  • 2008 – Received ‘Community Services Acknowledgement Award 2008’ from Community Relations Commission NSW.
  • 2010 – Received ‘Community Services Acknowledgement Award 2008’ from Community Relations Commission NSW.
  • 2011 – Brought Chand Raat Eid Festival (CREF) 2011 to Auburn City from Liverpool and held a successful event at Sydney Olympic Park which is now an annual event in Sydney Olympic Park
  • 2012 – Started free motivational workshops, free of charge, being an internationally certified life coach for community member in order to motivate people to take part in community development projects
  • 2013 – Launched CREF in Melbourne and delivered a successful event attended by over 10, 000 people where over 20,000 people attended Sydney’s event.
